Two simple questions – five words in total – can work wonders for your company's AI efforts:

When someone is pressing you to adopt or reject some genAI solution, it helps to understand their background and credentials. Is this a …

And from there, what's their bias? Do they simply love all things AI? Do they hate it? Are they trying to meet their sales targets?

2/ "How so?"

Even if the person has the street cred to discuss AI with you in-depth, what makes their product or idea a good idea for your company ? How, specifically, will this product improve your situation? How will you test this claim?

Long story short: if you take the time to work through these questions, you'll gain more confidence in the AI projects you take on and get better at spotting the projects to avoid.

Combined, you will see stronger ROI on your AI work and avoid needless downside risk exposure.
